I finally took the leap and started my blog! As a former short story writer since grade school,  who’d of thought it would be so difficult for me to come up with a topic to write about. That has been my hold up. I wanted to start a blog, but I didn’t know what I wanted to blog about. My first thought was fashion, of course, being the girlie girl that I am. Then I thought, I am no ‘real’  fashionista; although I could be, if only I had the money—[LIGHT BULB]—Frugal fashions and beauty on a budget!

As an education worker and new mom, financial ends don’t always meet. However, I always manage to make it out of the house looking like more money than I have in my pocket. Whenever complemented on clothes, hair or makeup, I get the urge to shout out, (“Thanks!  It only cost 5 bucks” or “I got it from the thrift store”).

So here I am now with an idea and a passion. And I’m ready to share all my Lil’ secrets on how I stay fly while keeping my coins. Enjoy, share & return. 🙂
